#1- Engine Misfires

Typically, it’s the job of this sensor to regulate fuel. If it fails, the combustion formula required for proper performance of engine will be affected. There will be an insufficient amount of fuel running through the pump and reaching the chambers. When it happens, the engine may experience misfire. 

In short, a damaged sensor affects the air-fuel ratio causing such symptoms. They are easy to detect. You may get to hear strange noises or see thick black smoke coming out of the exhaust.
